GEOMETRY Directory Contents

The GEOMETRY directory contains files intended to provide information on
the relative positions of Rosetta, the Sun and the target body, and also the
orientation of Rosetta and the MIRO beams. In general, the files only cover
the periods in which MIRO acquired significant data for the target body. The
files are table files (*.TAB), whose contents are explained by the header
information in the label (*.LBL) files corresponding to each *.TAB file.

The following table files are present:

ESB1_EARTH_CA_GEOM.TAB - observations of Earth, covering 45 minutes around
closest approach, with a time resolution of 3 seconds. This file contains an
item not present in the other tables, the velocity along the line of sight of
the sub-millimeter boresight (VLOSSMM); this item is identical to the radial
velocity for nadir pointing, which is normally used, but in this observation
the boresight was kept fixed (pointing at the Moon).

ESB1_EARTH_2_GEOM.TAB - covering about two days of Earth observations, with a
time resolution of 10 minutes.

ESB1_MOON_1_GEOM.TAB - covering about 26 hours of Moon observations, all
prior to closest approach to Moon, with a time resolution of 10 minutes.

ESB1_MOON_2_GEOM.TAB - covering about two hours of Moon observations, starting
a day after closest approach to Moon, with a time resolution of 10 minutes.
